I have lived in Kaitaia for 76 years and are one of the lucky families that have been able to access 90 Mile Beach. As a child, with my family, we were able to play, fish and drive (Ford 10!) on the beach and enjoyed these special experiences. We are lucky to see our children and grandchildren share the same. Our families love of the beach was the drive behind establishing our tour business (30 years ago) so we could show this special place to visitors from around the world.
