Mark Williams

I was born and went to school in Hamilton, but then traveled for many years. I was a marine engineer, hospital engineer, and computer engineer. Now retired in Mangawhai, my wife and I love rock and roll dancing and the natural environment of our country.

We completed the 3000km Te Araroa trail backpacking walk in 2019, and we are now volunteer trustees for the Northland TA trust. One of the highlights of our walk was the Te-Oneroa-a-Tōhē beach walk. I love the wild pristine nature of the beach and I am very interested in the welfare of the beach and of those who walk on it.
