Carol Berghan

Ko Mahimaru te Marae, Ko Awanui te Awa, ko Rangunu te Moana, Ko Te Aupouri-Ngaitakoto-Te Rarawa me Ngatikahu aku iwi.

Professionally, Carol works as a Chief Executive officer for Te Hiku Iwi Development Trust. Carol also has roles currently as a Trustee of Mahimaru Marae, Matarau Maori Anglican Church and Te Runanga o Ngaitakoto. Her role as CE is to enable effective and successful partnership engagement between Te Hiku Iwi and Government Agencies; a complex multi Iwi, multi crown environment. When she's not doing that Carol loves fishing Te Oneroa a Tohe and cares deeply for the wellbeing of her favourite playground. She is a thought-leader, strategic thinker, system activist and loves her mum's marshmallow cake.
